VICTO-RIA AVG / SMANΓ Victory advancing left, holding trophy in her right hand and palm frond in her left; in field to left, star; in field to right, LXXII. Depeyrot 2/2 (unrecorded officina). RIC 7 (unrecorded officina). Extremely rare, perfectly centered and with a noble portrait. A few very light marks, otherwise, extremely fine.

The numeral LXXII = 72 on the reverse of this issue is a value mark, as the solidus was fixed by Constantine I upon its introduction in late 309 or early 310 at 1/72 of a Roman libra = 4.55 g.
